We are only 2 weeks away from our Annual Fall Trip for 2017. Currently we have 36 golfers signed up.
This will be the first time we have tried to extend the trip to 3 days/2 nights. All costs for hotel for Friday and Saturday nights has been paid. Green fees, cart fees and prize funds for Saturday and Sunday are also paid. The only thing not paid for is green fees/cart fees for Friday’s round of golf. We will also collect a small fee ($15 for the prizes) for Friday. We have negotiated a fee for the golf on Friday to be $25 per player.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I have posted a sheet on the bulletin board that shows the “suggested foursomes”. It is up to you to organize your foursome. If you fail to do so, then you will be placed in a foursome by the BOD. We want everyone to get a chance to play with whomever they wish. Some of the foursomes are already confirmed, so please look at the sheet and if you do not like who you are playing with, form your own foursome. Please make sure when you try to form your foursome that all the players are in agreement. Once you have confirmed your foursome, indicate that on the sheet.
In addition to the foursome sheet, I have also placed a “ride share” sheet on the bulletin board. I do not know exactly who plans to drive so I made a good guess. Please make changes on the sheet to reflect the driver and passengers. If you are willing to take on another passenger or two, please indicate that on the sheet. Hopefully we can minimize the number of cars to keep the overall cost down. If you are a passenger, you are expected to at least share in the cost of gas.

Most of us have GPS for directions. If you need directions, you can use the links below to get the website for both locations. From there you can get directions. I will also print a few copies of directions from Google and have them in the Pro Shop on Friday 10/20.

Golf will be played at Blueberry Plantation in Alma, Ga. This course is sort of on the way to Brunswick. The drive time will be just under 2 hours from Southern Hills. Tee times will be posted next week. Our tee times will start at 11:00 AM.

Golf will be played at Sea Palms Resort Golf Club. This facility is located very close to the hotel so you should not need directions once you get to Sea Palms Resort. Tee times for Saturday will start at 9:20 AM. Sunday’s tee times will start at 9:04. We will post specific tee times next week .
