We had 35 players this weekend during our annual Fall Trip. Thanks to all that made the trip to St. Simons Island a success. I hope that each of you had a great time. We value your feedback so please send a note if you have comments, good or bad.
The weather was extremely good for this time of year, even though it was a bit windy on Saturday. The wind did not help the fact that the tees were a little longer than we are accustomed to. We did get a little lucky on Sunday as the forecast 4 days ago was for 80% chance of thunderstorms. The rain did finally arrive but it was not until all groups had finished and we were on our way back home.
I will try to post all the results to the website in the next few days. If you won money but did not stick around to collect on Sunday – too bad!. Just kidding. I will take envelopes to the clubhouse in the morning before I head out to Birmingham for the rest of the week.
