Kinderlou Update: We were not able to lock in the dates of 15-16 Oct so the Fall Trip has been rescheduled to 29-30 Oct. We will have a 1300 Shotgun start on the 29th and a 0930 Shotgun start on the 30th. I don’t have the ‘final/official’ $$ yet but we expect to hold your cost to $50 as per normal. Those desiring single occupancy will be required to pay the difference between single and double occupancy.

I have also reserved rooms for an additional 12 players for Friday the 28th for those that want to go early. I am still working on the location to play Friday @1300.

I will have a signup sheet posted Saturday. Paying the $50 fee will insure your spot for the trip. Please indicate your ‘roomie’ preference and if you want to play Friday. Friday’s costs will be borne entirely by the players but I expect it to be less than $90, including room and golf.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Memorial Day (Monday 30 May): We will have a ‘regular’ MGA game at noon for those wishing to play.

We had a good turnout, thanks again to all of those that participated and congratulations to the winners.

At the meeting afterwards, it was decided that the 2016 Fall Trip will be to Kinderlou Forest in Valdosta. The dates are 15-16 Oct, subject to us being able to lock in. For those that have not played there, it is a quality location that has hosted numerous mini tour events and GSGA tournaments. For those that are 55 and older, they have a special Senior Rate on Tuesdays and Thursdays – $33 including lunch. http://www.kinderlou.com/golf_play.html

We expect to be able to keep the cost in line with our previous trips. It is never too early to sign up and reserve your spot. The cost will be $50 per player, double occupancy. Those that prefer single occupancy will be required to pay the difference, around $40-50.
