We had for the first time in (several years anyway) an MGA  Dinner and Scramble yesterday. A good turnout of 25 golfers played in the scramble with about 30 enjoying a great meal of grilled pork chops in the clubhouse dinning room after play was over.

Winners of the scramble with a score of  -9 (tie)  on the back were:

A short and lively meeting was held after eating with everyone complementing the management on the great condition of the course. The main discussion centered around the Super Senior Players or as we are called by some the “Red Tee Players”. After some time it was the unanimous decision by vote of the members present and the management of Southern Hills that they would add a new set of tees Black, for the players over 70  and the MGA would pay for them.

We plan to hold these meeting every month on the 4th Thursday as long as we have enough participation.  So go ahead and make your plans to attend next month September 28th.

Speaking for your BOD (Jody, Artie, W J) I want to thank Buster, Matt and all of the management of Southern Hills for helping us getting this started.
