Today we had a brief ceremony to honor R C Coleman and Bob Lamar. The MGA purchased a nice memorial bench and placed in on hole #5 (favorite holes of both Bob and RC since they had hole in ones there). In the next couple of weeks the golf course will install it more permanently. I counted between 30 and 35 people in attendance. For those that were not able to attend, here is a pic of the bench.

At the conclusion of golf on Thursday (Mar. 12) there will be a short memorial ceremony. At this time we will unveil the memorial bench for Bob Lamar and R C as well as spread RC’s ashes per his request. Anyone interested can meet at the clubhouse or on #5 tee box. I would expect the time to be between 5:15 and 5:30 if there are no rain delays during golf.
