Don’t forget to sign up for Peer Day this Saturday. We need everyone to be signed up NLT 1130 as we will be using our Tournament Software to pick the teams. The teams will be picked after play, by the computer. As mentioned previously, the format will be based on the number of players. In all cases, Net scores will be involved and current GHIN handicaps will be used. Those without a GHIN handicap will be assigned one based on ‘normal’ MGA scores.

The annual MGA Best Ball tournament will be held on 24 Apr. Details to follow.

Some of you have asked about ‘the next meeting’. We (the Board) do not any plans at the moment but if anyone has any issues or suggestions you are encouraged to make us aware of them.

With all of my lectures about checking results before posting, I somehow left off the skins.

The sign up sheet for Peer day is on the board at the pro shop. The format will be decided based on the number of players. If foursomes it will be 2 low gross + 1 low net, threesomes 1 low gross + 1 low net, twosomes will be the same as last month. You need to be signed up by 1130 to insure a spot in the field.

The club is hosting the 4th annual TEED Off Cancer Golf Tournament on Saturday 19 Mar and could use our support for a worthy cause. The format is a four man scramble so get your guys together and sign up. Details in the pro shop.

While I am sure it comes as no surprise to anyone, I personally think it speaks highly of the character of our group that the members of the team that was incorrectly awarded winnings Sunday were to a man, quick to respond that the monies should be returned and they did so. Those members were Rick Moody, Doc Garrett, Don Weir and Richard Poole.

There were 35 players Sunday!

Before we get to the results I want to remind the Captains to post accurate results, to include skins. We had a scoring error (inadvertent for sure) that was not caught until the prize monies had been distributed. The below results are in fact the result of corrections made. We ask that the players involved return those monies that were incorrectly awarded so that they can be correctly distributed.

Just one more reminder: We have numerous John’s, Tom’s, Don’s etc. Please add enough information on the scorecard so I can credit the correct person on the money list.
