There were 26 votes in the poll. Of those that voted, 77% voted not to continue playing points every Saturday. 15% voted Maybe, let’s just not do it every week.
Based on these results, the points game is suspended. The BOD will discuss other options to add some variety to our matches and determine the frequency as such.
Feel free to make suggestions.
FYI, there will not be an MGA game on Saturday June 10. There is a large charity event at Southern Hills. We tried to get some tee times at Southern Landings but the earliest available would have been 2 PM. Hope to see you on Sunday.
There have been about 20 people sign up for the Fall Trip but only about 7 give the deposit. Remember it is the first 28 to pay the first $100 deposit that are guaranteed spots. Don’t forget that you must have played in the game 12 times before the end of September to qualify for the MGA subsidy.

Since the first part of the year we have been playing a points game one day each week. Over the past couple of months it seems that many of those that voted at our meeting to do this have had second thoughts. The biggest complaint I hear is that it draws out the game too long. Seldom do we finish in less than 4 1/2 hours and sometimes it takes 5 hours to finish. For this reason I am posting a new poll to give the members a chance to vote whether we continue the points game once a week or go back to our normal 2 Best Ball Game.
