The primary purpose of this meeting is to give our members a chance to socialize. There will be a very short meeting conducted after we eat. If you have not been part of one of these fish fry at Wayne’ s pond house you will find this to be one of the best social events we host all year. It is a time to have some fun fishing, maybe a chance to down a beer or two and an opportunity to just chat with each other. The social will last until all have departed.  If you wish to go out early that day and help catch some fish, please let Wayne Simmons know.
Sign-up sheet:

There will be a sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board. Please take a moment to let us know that you will be there by signing up. This helps us know how much food to prepare. You are requested to sign-up by May19th.

Web Poll

New user poll posted!

At our last quarterly meeting there was a lot of interest in using a software program to “pick the teams”. Hal Baker suggested a good program that will do just that.
Please look on the bottom of our webpage to see the poll and cast your vote. We will have the results of the poll at our next meeting (scheduled for May 25 at Wayne’s “Pond House”).
You can find the poll by going to :
Your vote matters, so please cast your vote!

Practice Round

Practice Round

Grand Island, Albany GA

There has been some interest expressed by those that have signed up to represent SHGC in a “Ryder Cup” type match to go play a practice round at Grand Island. Tom is looking into getting us a special price for the practice round.
This is an optional practice round and is not included in the entry fee. If anyone is interested, please contact me and I will try to organize the trip to Albany.
No date has been set yet. More information will follow.
