It is that time again where we get together and recap the year. It has been a good year for the MGA with a record number of members and good participation in the weekly matches.

We will meet at Southern Hills and enjoy a Bar-B-Que buffet catered by Randy Head (one of our members). The menu will consist of Bar-B-Que, Ribs and Chicken, with beans, slaw, bread, and Iced Tea. The cost of the meal will be absorbed by the MGA.

One of our main agenda items at the Annual Meeting will be to elect the Board of Directors for 2014. Please join in for an evening of fellowship and good eats.

We will start a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board so we can get an idea of how mush food to prepare. Please sign-up prior to December 1, so we can get an accurate count.

For those of you that did not make the trip to Vidalia last weekend, you really missed out on a fun weekend. Although the golf courses were having some issues with the greens, I think if you talk to anyone that went, you will find that it was a great trip anyway.

I wanted to share an email I got from Hawks Point:

The list below represents those that have signed up to make the trip to Vidalia. If you wish to go but have not yet signed up, please do so before the end of this week. There are sign up sheets on the bulletin board outside the men’s restroom. Please give Matt or me your deposit by October 1 to guarantee your spot and that you have a room. Use the list of those signed up to find a roommate for the weekend. If you want a single room it will cost you an additional $40 paid in advance. If you will be commuting and do not need a room, please let me know by October 1 so we do not get charged for rooms we do not need.
